A question people often ask is how long the camper takes to set up. That depends on how much canvas you need of course, because just to open the camper takes less than a minute, but to put up the shower and kid’s rooms with full annex could take one person up to an hour. However, to open the camper and put up the awning so there is cover over the kitchen is a very common set up and takes ten minutes. YouTube has a ten minute limit on uploaded videos, so the following shows one person setting up the camper with awning and annex matting in less than ten minutes.

Weather proofing the kitchen area is a simple matter of putting up an infill and end wall. No extra poles or ropes are required to do this as the infill attaches by velcro and sailtrack while the end wall is zipped on. The draft flap running along the underside of the camper adds extra wind protection. In some conditions the front wall and other end wall will also be needed to provide a snug and cosy environment.
Aussie Swag's annex reflects our overriding philosophy of keeping set up time to a minimum. Four poles for full annex.
LED strip light & roof air vent
All models feature a tropical roof, a second, easy replaceable roof that forms a breezeway between both roofs to keep the tent cool inside and to minimise condensation. It also protects the main tent section from tree sap and bird droppings.
We have developed a Roof Air Vent which uses convection to promote air flow in the main tent. This makes Aussie Swag's tent the coolest around.
A large awning (2.1m x 5.5m) zips on to cover the kitchen. A second large awning (1.4m x 5.5) zips on to the other side for excellent weather protection. The smaller offside awning is reversible and can zip onto the kitchen side with an extension to cover the kitchen.
A window flap over the draw bar zips to the main awning. There are two screened side doorways and three windows around the bed area with inside flaps for privacy and weather control. There is a zippered, screened back doorway to which an optional shower room or kid's room can be attached.
Standard on Ultra model as Annex Pack 1. Two end walls with PVC clear panels, draught flap, and infill. An enclosed annex with fly screen & covers is an option.
Standard tent on the Rover LX (stoneguard flaps not standard on Rover LX)
The front flap and offside awning with extension or shower room provide excellent weather protection. The inside of the tent remains cool and dry even with all three windows open.
